ParentS of Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder Counseling anD Training

Mission Statement

P.S. 229 is making a PACT to support our families with ASD by assisting parents in understanding the special needs of their child; providing parents with information about child development; and helping parents to acquire the necessary skills that will allow them to support the implementation of their child’s individualized education program.

Although this team focuses on families of children with autism many of the trainings and resources provided are applicable for supporting all families of students with disabilities.
